Mason Lacrosse Club is a non-profit youth sports organization that relies 100% on parent volunteers to coach and organize all of our teams. The success Mason Lacrosse Club has enjoyed is due in large part to the dedication, planning, passion and teaching that our volunteer coaching staff brings to our program.
Mason Lacrosse Club is always looking for parent volunteers to step up in a number of organizational and coaching roles. Capacities such as program coordinator, head coach, assistant coaches and parent helpers are needed at all levels for both boys and girls from youth (3rd~6th grade) to middle school age.
Previous lacrosse experience is not necessary. Some of our coaching staff have previously played the sport but many have not. Mason Lacrosse Club provides coaches training and certifications through a number of vehicles. The US Lacrosse “Coaching Education Program” is our primary method of training. For more information visit http://www.uslacrosse.org/participants/coaches/coaching-education-program.aspx. Secondary training occurs via our relationship with Mason HS varsity coaches and among our own experienced coaching staff.
Folks with great attitudes, a teaching heart, positive thinking, energetic, organized, goal oriented and a passion for the sport are qualities that make up exceptional coaches!
